About Villa Vista al Mar

This modern villa perched on a mountain overlooking the world famous beaches of Santa Teresa and Mal Pais…with one of the best views you’ve ever seen! The location is amazing because you can enjoy privacy and tranquility on the property, and within minutes you can be down on the beach and in the center of town. 4×4 is required for the short drive up from town/beach (1km) and recommended for the entire area. OR I can coordinate ATv rental ($60-70 a day) to be delivered! 

The space

This is your own private home. Our managers also live just down the hill and will be here upon arrival to check you in, and available throughout your stay should you want help booking tours, activities, or simply advice on where to eat and what to do! 

Other things to note

THIS IS COSTA RICA. One of the most biodiverse countries in the world. People come here to specifically see wildlife. So IF you do see a bug, or a lizard, or a snake outside; There is NO NEED FOR PANIC. These creatures live in the jungle and we are in their home and we can not control their movements! I can’t tell you how many times a guests has freaked out over seeing wildlife, OUTSIDE. This is Costa Rica!

4×4 vehicle (recommend for all of Costa Rica, we have Budget and Alamo here in town) OR ATV rental are required for 1km drive up to the home.

**There is also a construction site nearby the home. It does not impede the view but you can hear it during weekdays through September. **
